18 Nov Test Kitchen chefs busy in the community
As work continues at the Fishers Test Kitchen construction site in The Yard at Fishers District, the Test Kitchen team has been busy this fall with community events. Chefs Carlos Salazar of Lil Dumplings, chef Leisha Berg of West Coast Nook and chefs John and Kim of Korave all visited the Fishers Farmers’ Market in October, shopping, sampling and cooking, and they recently judged at the Launch Fishers chili cook-off. Chefs John and Kim and chef Carlos also appeared recently on WISH-TV’s Indy Style morning show.
Fishers Test Kitchen chefs have been busy with community events and keeping up with construction progress.
Earlier in November, chef Leisha spoke to students at Geist Elementary School for career day about her life as a chef. And chef John participated in a panel discussion, along with Test Kitchen co-founders John Wechsler and Jolene Ketzenberger, during Louisville, Ky.’s Techstars Startup Week.
You’ll be seeing even more of our chefs soon as their kitchens come together. They’ve been on site recently checking out the progress. Equipment is being installed, and it’s starting to look like a food hall!
